When Wayne Kramer was released from Federal Prison, after his legendary run-in with the Drug Enforcement agency, the biggest celebration took place in his hometown of Detroit, but his friends and fans in London weren't going to be out-done. Mick Farren and Jake Riviera, head honcho of Stiff Records, decided they would bring Wayne to London, as soon as his Parole Officer was agreeable, to play a triumphal night at Dingwalls Dancehall. The notorious Pink Fairies showed out to play with him. For years, it seemed the show was but a memory, until one day Mick Farren found, in a dusty box of quarter inch tapes, a reel marked "Kramer -- Dingwalls," and this is the digital evidence of the night when Wayne and the Pink Fairies tore up the joint.
